This apple and caramelized pecan cake recipe is totally decadent.
Easy to make, even more to taste!
Prepare it for a special occasion or just to treat yourself to a well-deserved treat in the middle of the week.
° 1 cup of P’tite Abeille breadcrumbs
° 1/4 cup butter, melted
° 4 packets of brick cream cheese, softened
° 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar, divided
° 1 c. vanilla
° 1 cup sour cream
° 4 eggs
° 4 cups of peeled apples, finely chopped
° 3/4 cup pecans, chopped
° 1 c. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat 350 ° F oven.
Line 9-13 inch pan with foil, letting foil hang over sides of pan. Combine breadcrumbs and butter; pressure firmly to bottom pan .
Place cream cheese, 1 cup brown sugar and vanilla in a large bowl and beat with a mixer on medium speed, until combined. Add sour cream; mix well. Stir in eggs, one at a time, beating on low speed after each addition, just enough to combine. Pour blending to mold. Mix remaining brown sugar, apples, pecans and cinnamon; Spread equally on cheese blending .
Baking 56 min . Allow et cooled . Refrigerate 4 hours. Unmould cake, employ foil as handles, before cutting also serving.
