Ingredients
  

  • gm catfish fillet
  • cup 130 ml contains yogurt or milk
  • ml cup of cornmeal yellow
  • cup 130 ml contains flour
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • /2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • /4 teaspoon paprika
  • /8 teaspoon hot pepper
  • /8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • /8 teaspoon onion powder
  • liters of oil more if needed

Method
 

  1. cleaning fillet & catfish (removing all dark meat); soaking in yogurt or milk about 1-2 h; drain well.
  2. Sprinkling fish with salt, pepper & herbs.
  3. Dipping in cornmeal & flour mixture.
  4. Cook in a small saucepan with 130L of oil, being careful not to overload the fillets, perhaps by half.
  5. Fry for 6-8 minutes, watching closely so as not to burn, turn once.
  6. Serve with lemon tracnhe if wanted .
  7. Enjoy!
