Polish sausage , Sauerkraut and potatoes ( CROCKPOT )

We love the recipe for this simple crockpot! Sauerkraut and potatoes appear just to be going together. Attach a little smoked Polish sausage and have a meal in your oven! This is pure food for warmth, and my family is all about food for warmth. We enjoy simple recipes for crock pots and this one is a keeper for sure. For a group of individuals, you could break this recipe in half or double it. Once it is refrigerated overnight, this dish is much better the next day.
The list of the ingredients that you’ll need:
+ 450g Smoked Polish sausage, cut into chunks.
+ 1 bay leaf.
+ 2 medium cans sauerkraut, undrained.
+ 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks.
+ A cup of water.
+ 1 tsp caraway seeds.
+ 1/4 teaspoon pepper.


INSTRUCTIONS:
– Step 1- In a slow cooker put the sauerkraut and the potatoes, add the spices and water.
– Step 2- Set the sausage on top.
– Step 3- Cook at low for 6 hours or around 4 hours on high.
– Step 4- Remove from heat when the potatoes are tender.
