Method
- Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken piece in the flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken pieces in batches for 15–20 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C).
- Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve hot.
