Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a pizza pan or large baking sheet.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the sliced ribeye until browned and caramelized, then transfer it to a bowl.
- Add the remaining butter and sliced onion to the skillet. Cook until beginning to soften, then add the bell pepper. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder and sauté until caramelized.
- Return the ribeye to the skillet, stir gently with the vegetables, and remove from the heat.
- Arrange the crescent triangles on the prepared pan with the wide ends overlapping in a circle and the pointed ends facing outward.
- Place 6 slices of provolone around the wide center of the ring. Top with the steak and vegetables, then add the remaining 6 cheese slices.
- Fold the pointed ends of dough over the filling and tuck them under the inner edge to seal the ring.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Bake for 20–30 minutes, until deep golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley, slice, and serve with warm cheese sauce if desired.
How to Shape the Ring
Overlap the wide ends of the dough triangles to create a sturdy base, then tuck each pointed end beneath the center after covering the filling.
