American Lasagna

Whenever I hear the word lasagna, I get the taste of cheese in my mouth. It’s crazy how much I love this dish! This is my family recipe for american lasagna, check it out, I hope you like it.
You’ll Need:
1 ½ pounds of ground beef.
1 jar of red pasta sauce.
1 box of lasagna noodles.
12 oz of cottage cheese.
12 oz of sour cream.
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese.
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
Chopped spinach (optional).

How to:
Brown the ground beef and drain off fat. Add in the pasta sauce.
In a 9×13 pan, spread some meat/sauce and top it with the first layer of noodles.
Add a layer of meat sauce and top with the cheeses mixture. Repeat the layer 2 more times.

In a preheated oven to 350°, bake the lasagna covered with foil for 60 minutes, remove the foil and bake for 30 more minutes.
If you use fresh pasta, bake for 30 minutes covered and 20 minutes uncovered.
Let sit a bit before cutting and serving.

Simple, easy and cheesy! Nothing is better than a nice and warm lasagna with so many cheeses! I usually use fresh noodles for this with some extra sauce. Give it a try, you will love it.
