- onion chopped
- cloves garlic minced
- green bell pepper chopped
- cup celery sliced
- head green cabbage chopped
- can diced tomatoes 14-ounce
- cup chicken broth
- /2 cup water
- cup uncooked brown basmati rice
- tablespoon chili powder
- /2 teaspoon salt
- teaspoon paprika
- /2 teaspoon cumin
- /8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- /8 teaspoon black pepper.
Instructions
- In large pot, cook the pork sausage with onion and garlic until browned.
- Stir in green bell pepper and celery; cook and stir for 3 minutes longer.
- Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
