- °3 cups of beef broth.
- °2 teaspoons garlic salt.
- °2 teaspoons black pepper.
- °1 envelope of dry Italian dressing mix.
- °1 to 2 large loaves of French bread cut into sandwich lengths.
- °Provolone cheese slices.
- How:
- In slow cooker, place thinly sliced steak and add green pepper, onion, broth, garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning mixture.
- Cook, covered, for 7 to 8 hours on low heat or 3 to 4 hours on high.
- Fill sandwiches with baguettes or toast if you like, and top with cheese.
- Bake in a baking sheet for a few minutes to melt the cheese and serve with sautéed mushrooms on top if you wish.
