Ingredients
- Uncooked large shrimp: 1 pound peeled and deveined
- Garlic: 5 cloves minced
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Butter: 1/2 cup
- Lime juice: 3 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley: 1 tablespoon minced
- Hot pasta: 1 lb cooked
- #Flavored Butter "finishing" Sauce:
- Butter: 2 tablespoons
- Feta cheese: 1/2 tablespoon crumbled
- Garlic: 1 clove minced
- Parsley: 1/2 tablespoon chopped
- Olive oil: 1 teaspoon
- STEPS TO MAKE IT :
- STEP 1 :
- The first thing you have to do is to combine all ingredients for the flavored butter "finishing" sauce in a blender or food processor and pulse until well combined.
- STEP 2 :
- I find it very useful to get a small bowl and whisk in well until incorporated just in case I don't feel like pulling out a machine for this.
- STEP 3 :
- Make sure the butter is softer and set aside.
- STEP 4 :
- And please start your shrimp while pasta is boiling.
- STEP 5 :
- Next you need to saute the shrimp, garlic, salt, and cayenne in butter in a large skillet for 5 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink. Always remember not to OVERCOOK as the shrimp will become rubbery and tasteless, so please turn off the heat once they become pink).
- STEP 6 :
- Now that the shrimp are cooked you'll want to add the flavored butter, coat shrimp.
- STEP 7 :
- And that's it, stir in lime juice and parsley and serve with pasta & ENJOY !!! or toss together with pasta
